Your Ideal Tuscany--- When you see pictures of Tuscany, the rolling plains, the sheep dotted fields, tiny chapels in the waving wheat and long winging streets outlined with noble cypress trees, you're often seeing photos of the Val d'Orcia. When I first moved to Italy I would say almost 10x a day, I wish I could have seen this 500 years ago and then when I saw the Val d'Orcia my dreams came true. It is a place truly forgotten in time preserving nature and art in a way that still makes me cry when drive through the countryside, take a slow walk through Pienza, bathe in the thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni, or have a sip of Brunello in Montalcino.
